FOR THE BENEFIT OF MR. BUFFETT
Multi-talented artist/composer/visionary David Barratt recently recruited JJ to perform at The Benefit For Mr. Buffett. A live performance marathon featuring NYC's top talent performing all 189 Beatles songs on Ukelele. Why, you may ask? Warren Buffett knows money. Warren Buffett plays Ukelele. David (and partner-in-crime Roger Greenwalt) wanted to make a statement about the global economic mess, and so they collected donations in a large Hefty bag at the performance, are driving to Omaha to present Mr. Buffett with the collections, and asking him to do something good with it.
A film of the project is in the works, and JJ has been tapped to record his version of "I Want You (she's so heavy)" for the soundtrack...look for it in 2009!
